Red Sox' Path to Playoffs Takes Wrong Turn Despite Return of Injured Stars to Mix

Just when the Red Sox looked like they were well on their way up a path headed to the playoffs, their journey took a wrong turn.

Despite the emotional highs brought on by the returns of Jacoby Ellsbury, Carl Crawford and Dustin Pedroia to the lineup, the team enters Tuesday losers of four straight and once again in last place of the division.

Hopefully, when David Ortiz returns to the lineup, the Sox can find their way yet again.
