It sounds like JET could be landing in Boston soon.

The Celtics are in "final discussions" with guard Jason Terry on a three-year deal, according to Yahoo's Marc Spears.

Terry has spent his 13-year career with the Atlanta Hawks and the Dallas Mavericks. The veteran guard won a title with the Mavs in 2011, primarily as a bench player.

He played in 63 games for Dallas last season, coming off the bench in all but one of them. He still played 31 minutes per night while averaging 15.1 points per game on 43 percent shooting, including 38 percent from 3-point land.

The potential addition of Terry would seem to indicate the end of Ray Allen's tenure in Boston, but as Spears points out, Celtics coach Doc Rivers recently indicated that he could see a Celtics roster that features both Terry and Allen.
