Report: Dodgers Interested in Cole Hamels, Jimmy Rollins, Shane Victorino, OthersThe Dodgers are looking to keep pace with the Giants in the National League West, so it's realistic to think they could be looking for help prior to the trade deadline.

CBS Sports' Danny Knobler reports that the Dodgers are interested in acquiring both a hitter and a pitcher, and it appears the Phillies are one team they could be checking out extensively.

According to Knobler, the Dodgers have interest in Cole Hamels, Jimmy Rollins and Shane Victorino. Rollins and Victorino are reportedly more realistic targets for Los Angeles, though, as the Dodgers unlikely have enough prospects to land Hamels, and the Phillies could also elect to hang on to the talented hurler.

Rollins just signed a three-year, $33 million deal with the Phillies last December, but he's been disappointing this season, much like he has been the past few years. The Dodgers have received subpar play from their shortstops, however, so perhaps the veteran could help stabilize that situation.

Victorino, meanwhile, is having a so-so year himself, but there's long been talk that Philadelphia may opt to deal him away.

This is a situation worth monitoring, but it's hardly the only potential trade scenario for the Dodgers. According to Knobler, they've long been linked to Ryan Dempster and Matt Garza, had a scout in Milwaukee over the weekend to watch Aramis Ramirez and Corey Hart, and have shown interest in Josh Willingham and Michael Cuddyer.

In other words, things could soon heat up out West.
