See Carl Crawford Suit Up for PawSox on NESN at 7 p.m. ThursdayCarl Crawford will begin a new 20-day rehab assignment at Triple-A Pawtucket on Thursday. Fortunately for Red Sox fans, NESN has you covered.

Tune in to NESN at 7 p.m. on Thursday as Crawford suits up for the PawSox. Pawtucket will be hosting the Buffalo Bisons at McCoy Stadium, and Crawford is expected to be in the lineup as he works his way back from another setback.

Crawford has yet to play at the major league level this season, battling a number of injury issues to begin the year. His latest setback, a left groin strain, came while trying to leg out a triple for Double-A Portland on July 5.

Crawford was initially sidelined this season because of offseason wrist surgery. In addition to that and the groin issue, he's also battling a sprained ligament in his left elbow.

The Red Sox outfielder struggled in his first season in Boston in 2011, hitting just .255 in 130 games.

The hope is that Crawford can still return this season in order to help the Red Sox down the stretch, which makes the current rehab stint, including Thursday's game, extremely important. So be sure to tune in to see what Crawford can do.
