Jason McCourty
may not quite have the credentials of twin brother Devin, but the Titans cornerback has definitely established his value during his first three years in the NFL. And on Thursday, he finally cashed in on it.

A sixth-round pick in 2009, Jason McCourty has quickly become a starter and key contributor for the Titans. On Thursday, the 25-year-old corner signed a five-year, $43 million extension to remain in Tennessee. The deal has $20 million in guaranteed money, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Upon inking the new deal, Devin made sure to congratulate his brother on the big payday on the twins' shared Twitter account — @McCourtyTwins. But while sending out some kind words and congratulations, the former first-rounder, Devin, was sure to ask if his brother could spare a few bucks.

The newly-inked Jason wasn't having any of his brother's antics, though, shutting down Devin on account of his high draft status.

All joking aside, Jason certainly deserved the lengthy extension after
starting 15 games for the Titans in 2011. He's been quietly living up to his namesake, recording 103 tackles
to go along with one sack and a pair of interceptions last season. Even while Devin gets all the press, Jason is hoping to match his brother's Pro Bowl selection with another stellar campaign in 2012.
