Finally, a story out of Jets training camp that doesn’t involve Tim Tebow or Mark Sanchez.

A brawl broke out during a Jets practice session on Thursday after defensive back D’Anton Lynn shoved running back Joe McKnight out of bounds after McKnight caught a pass, according to New York Daily News’ Manish Mehta. McKnight responded by throwing a football at Lynn and charging him and was promptly tackled to the ground by Lynn.

Over 20 players got involved in the scrum, which eventually had to be broken up by head coach Rex Ryan. The Jets probably expected better from Lynn, who is the son of running backs coach Anthony Lynn.

Check out a video clip of the end of the fight below, as well New York Daily News Jets beat writer Manish Mehta’s account of the brawl.
