Russian Long Jumper Darya Klishina May Not Be at the Olympics, But She Still Has Plenty of Fans (Photos)Darya Klishina will not win the gold medal in the Olympic long jump this year. But she still has a chance to become the world's most famous long jumper, as her movie star looks and precocious talent make for a dynamite combination.

Klishina, 21, won gold in last year's European Indoor Championships and followed that up with a gold at the European U23 Championships later that year. A former World Youth champion, she also has the second-farthest jump of all-time by a junior athlete (23' 3/4") and finished fifth and fourth at the last two World Indoor Championships, respectively.

All of this makes Klishina an athlete to watch at next year's World Championships in her native Russia and at the next Olympics in Rio. But her talent isn't the only reason for Klishina's popularity. Klishina is one of the most attractive women in track and field, and crowds seem to have caught on to that fact. Here's to hoping that, come Rio, Klishina will have what it takes to mix it up with the world's best.
