Don't try and tell Will Middlebrooks that his season is over.

The Red Sox third baseman, currently on the disabled list after with a broken right wrist that he sustained getting hit by a pitch, is still working hard. On Friday, Middlebrooks was spotted taking part in fielding drills at Yankee Stadium, even with a cast on that broken wrist.

Middlebrooks will reportedly not need surgery for the injury, meaning that there is a small chance he will be healthy in time to return and play for the Sox this season. Either way, he's staying sharp.
