Twitter has made getting your opinion to people in high places so easy that sometimes the overflow of opinions can push any organization's most level-headed social media person to the brink.
That is exactly what happened on Sunday to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Longtime Chiefs fan Travis Wright was so frustrated by the team's ineptitude during a loss to the Falcons on Sunday that he tweeted his displeasure about the team and their owner Clark Hunt. Wright claimed he was no longer much of a fan of the team and decried Hunt's management of the salary cap while throwing in an expletive for good measure.
This is where the "level-headed social media person" comes in. The manager of the Chiefs' Twitter account responded to Wright in a direct message saying that he should get his facts straight and to "get a clue." Wright snapped a screen shot, posted it on reddit and hundreds of comments later, the Chiefs apologized to Wright.
I apologize to the fans for my response to a tweet sent to me earlier. No excuse for my actions. I am truly sorry and it won't happen again.

It's unclear if it won't happen again because the person responsible learned his lesson or because he lost his job, but in either case, Wright has one more reason to be unhappy with the Chiefs.
