Chipper Jones Gets Surfboard From Padres as Gift for RetirementChipper Jones has
received his share of parting gifts during his season-long farewell tour.

When the Braves played the Red Sox at Fenway Park, the
third baseman was given a No. 10 plaque from the Green Monster scoreboard
from John Henry and Tom Werner to honor his coming retirement.

But the gift Jones was given Monday may have been the most unique.
Padres closer Trevor Hoffman gave Jones
a personalized surfboard.

The Braves lost 3-0, but Jones appeared to have liked the booty he gathered nonetheless.
