There’s monkey business, and then there’s Crystal the Monkey business.

Crystal the Monkey, a female capuchin monkey and animal actress, dropped by Petco Park for Thursday’s Padres-Dodgers game and was her usual entertaining self.

In addition to delivering the first pitch ball to the mound, Crystal joined the Padres’ broadcast booth to soak up the night’s action. While there, she even helped read a TV promo, showing that she might deserve a few lines in her next role.

Crystal held movie roles in Night at the Museum, Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian and The Hangover Part II, among other films. She also holds a role in NBC’s Animal Practice sitcom.

In fact, Ken Jeong, who played alongside Crystal in The Hangover Part II, hasn’t met anyone or any animal that compares to Crystal.

“She’s amazing,” Jeong said in May 2011. “She’s not a monkey, she’s an actor. And quite possibly the best actor I’ve worked with.”

Judging by Thursday’s performance, Crystal might have a play-by-play career in her future if she ever decides to step away from acting.
