Jabar Gaffney or Donte Stallworth May Sign With Dolphins, Agent Drew Rosenhaus SaysDon't be surprised if the Dolphins add a wide receiver by the time you're done reading this article.

The Dolphins, who have already worked out Donte Stallworth, have also worked out Jabar Gaffney, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport. According to The Palm Beach Post's Ben Volin, agent Drew Rosenahus said during a radio appearance Sunday night that Stallworth or Gaffney could sign with the team soon.

Both Stallworth and Gaffney were cut recently by the Patriots, who no longer have a logjam at the position after also cutting veteran Deion Branch. The Fins made a noteworthy cut themselves this offseason, releasing Chad Johnson shortly after his arrest.

Stallworth and Gaffney were teammates in Washington last season. Stallworth caught 22 passes for 309 yards and two touchdowns, while Gaffney was the team's leading receiver with 68 catches for 947 yards and five touchdowns.

Adding either receiver may not yield big-time results for Miami, but it would at least give the Dolphins a stopgap until they can find a long-term solution.
