Boston teams typically save the Duck boat rides for after the season — after the championships have been won, and all that.
A few Celtics jumped the gun, though, taking part in an excursion around the city on Thursday. Four of the newest members of the team joined Jeff Green for a tour, accompanied by a few lucky kids.
Jason Terry served as the tour guide while Dionte Christmas, Jared Sullinger and Kris Joseph took in the sights. The new Boston-area residents tweeted shots of their outing throughout the day.
