The Red Sox are holding a ceremony to remember Johnny Pesky's life on Sunday, Sept. 23, after their game against the Orioles.
The event, "Celebration of Life," is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. at Fenway Park and is open to ticket-holders for Sunday's game and to the general public. NESN will also be broadcasting it live.
The Red Sox legend passed away on Aug. 13 at the age of 92. The Red Sox were on an extended road trip at the time but honored Pesky at their next home game, on Aug. 21.
