Phil Mickelson, Keegan Bradley Dominate as Duo, Tie Record as U.S. Takes Advantage in Ryder CupWhether or not Davis Love III knew how explosive Keegan Bradley and Phil Mickelson would be as a team doesn't really matter. Either way, he hit a home run.

Bradley's energy and passion for the Ryder Cup has lifted not only Mickelson, his playing partner, but also the entire U.S. squad. With a 7-and-6 win Saturday morning, the American duo tied the Ryder Cup margin of victory record in an 18-hole match.

The bond that the two have developed on the national stage is touching and shows why Mickelson is still a fan favorite in the eyes of American fans. The 46-year-old took the young New England native under his wing, and the emotion and passion for the game the two share is electric.

Mickelson and Bradley have yet to sit out a session, and with the longest and most important day of play coming Sunday, it will be interesting to see how Love III sets the afternoon lineups.
