Has there ever been an NFL tight end as marketable as Rob Gronkowski?

Gronk’s eccentric personality, propensity for partying and, oh yeah, record-setting 2011 season has turned him into a cult hero not only in New England but across the nation. Gronkowski can now add ESPN Fantasy Football to his promo resume.

This offseason, the Patriots tight end has already been featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated twice, has appeared in a Monday Night Football commercial and has further established himself as an Internet legend. He’s still not done, though, as evidenced by the recent release of a couple of ESPN promos.

In the, dare I say, cheesy promo that promotes the fantasy game itself, Gronkowski threatens to “pound you like a chicken cutlet” if you show up late to your draft. Fortunately, most drafts are now complete, and there’s been no reports of Gronk-related violence.
