Robert Griffin III Covers Up Nike Logo in Unique Way, Which NFL Considers a Big No-NoIt seemed like Robert Griffin III could do no wrong during Sunday's game against the Saints. Before the game, however, it was a much different story.

RGIII, who is sponsored by adidas, decided to cover up the Nike swoosh on his shirt during the Redskins' pregame warmups. Considering the NFL and Nike just agreed on a five-year pact before the season, the league wasn't too thrilled with the quarterback's decision, according to ESPN.com.

Griffin covered up the swoosh in a unique manner as well. The rookie QB colored over the logo with an "H," as he spelled "Heart" on the left side of his shirt.

Griffin reportedly won't likely be fined since the shirt was only visible during pregame warmups, but NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy told ESPN.com that league officials would talk to him.

"It won't happen again," McCarthy reportedly said.

For the record, NFL players can wear logos of companies that endorse them, but the company must also have a deal with the league.
