Tom Brady's Doesn't Think Patriots Have Earned Better Record, Remains Focused on 'Winning'Tom Brady
isn't used to
losing, and he isn't very fond of it either.

After enduring a
heartbreaking loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night, the Patriots dropped
to 1-2 on the season. And Brady believes that's exactly where they deserve to
be.

"We're 1-2, we're not in
a good position right now," Brady said. "We're in the exact position
we deserve to be in, and we've got to do something about it."

This is the first time the
Patriots have been below .500 since an opening day loss to the Buffalo Bills
back in 2003 — although, they went on to win the Super Bowl that season. Brady
knows the offense hasn’t exactly lived up to expectations and he's focused on
changing that reality.

"We have to obviously
make improvements because what we’re doing isn’t good enough," Brady said.
"I don’t really care who gets the ball; I just hope we can score more
points than the other team."

New England hasn't been able
to do that in either of the past two weeks, but Brady knows the past doesn't
matter anymore. Now, he's only focused on turning this team's fortunes around, and
that starts this week against those same Bills.

"This week it's the
Bills," Brady said, deflecting a question about the officials. "I
could really care less about [the officials]. I want to win."

Winning is an outcome the
Patriots have become quite well-acquainted with during Brady's 11 seasons as a
starter. The Patriots aren't used to being the cellar dwellers in the AFC East
and, not surprisingly, it seems Brady and his teammates are really
focused on making winning the priority once more.

"We're sitting here at
1-2 and looking up at Buffalo and the Jets. It's a big, obviously, big game for
us," Brady said. "I think that we have to go out and play well this
week and win. That's really what my concern is. How the team responds…this is
about winning."

Brady knows the Bills could
throw a wrench in the Patriots' plans of getting back on track, just as they
did during New England's trip to Buffalo last season. But it's not something he
much wants to talk about. Then again, when it comes to winning, Brady usually let's
his play do the talking.
