One of the important parts of preparing for a game in the NFL is simulating the other teams' tendencies in practice.
Jeff Fisher took that to a whole new level this week.

The St. Louis Rams, who play Green Bay this weekend, prepared for Packers' star linebacker Clay Matthews in an unorthodox manner.

Rams' linebacker Sammy Brown was picked to impersonate Matthews — and his long, flowing blonde hair. Brown wore a blonde wig throughout practice to mimic the look of Green Bay's most dangerous defensive threat.

The tactic may be strange, but it's certainly not new for the Rams' coach. While he was the head coach of the Tennessee Titans, Fisher would have his scout safety wear a black wig to try to prepare his team for Troy Polamalu.

"When you’re playing great players like Polamalu and Matthews, you
like to know where they are on the field, and that helps," said
Fisher when asked about the move by the St. Louis Post Dispatch.

Helpful as it may be, that doesn't make it any less strange. See Brown's bad hair day in the photo below.
