Report: Leandro Barbosa Signs One-Year Deal with Boston CelticsThe Boston Celtics' roster has great depth in all areas as the team continues through the preseason.

On Wednesday, they added even more depth with the signing of Leandro Barbosa. According to Yahoo! Sports, Barbosa and the Celtics agreed to a one-year contract in which Barbosa will earn the veteran's minimum.

The guard is entering his 10th season in the NBA and played the first seven seasons of his career in a Phoenix Suns uniform. Barbosa has averaged 24.6 minutes, 12.5 points and 2.4 assists per game, and was named the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year in 2006-07.

Barbosa will bring a veteran presence, playoff experience and the ability to score in bunches to a roster that is already loaded with talent. The 29-year-old will serve as another combo guard that Doc Rivers can rely on to handle the ball in the absence of Avery Bradley.

The signing of Barbosa means that Boston now has 17 players on the roster, so it will be interesting to see who stays and who goes before the C's tip off on Oct. 30.
