Yankees, Orioles Delayed By Train Trouble During Trip to New York From BaltimoreFirst, the Orioles halted the Yankees' momentum. Now,
it's public transportation.

When the Yankees attempted to travel from Baltimore to New
York on Tuesday via train, there were electrical difficulties. As a result, the
team disembarked in Aberdeen, Md. and switched over to buses for the rest of
the trip.

"Well, I think our guys made the best of it and kind
of laughed at it," Yankees manager Joe Girardi told New York reporters.
"It's just something you have to deal with, similar to getting in from the
West Coast some days is what it was like."

Fortunately for the Yankees, their bus service was en
route to Atlantic City and managed to meet up with them in Aberdeen. The team
wound up getting to New York City at about 6 a.m.

"Yeah, it's been tough," Girardi said.
"You know, you'd think that a city this close in proximity would be easy
to get between, but not today."

The Orioles got in even later. The club was forced to order
buses and didn't arrive in New York until 8 a.m. on Tuesday — according to the
New York Post — so they elected to cancel their workout at Yankee Stadium.
