The Lakers are winless in three games so far, and the news isn't getting much better for the team as this young season rolls along.

While the Lakers announced that Steve Nash would miss at least one week with a fractured left fibula, Mike Bresnahan from the Los Angeles Times is hearing the Lakers' new point guard could miss up to four weeks with the injury. It would be wise to get Nash as healthy as possible before he feels forced to return. Nash will be important to the team's success.

Nash stayed shockingly healthy for his advanced-NBA age while in Phoenix. The Canadian hasn't missed ten games in a season since 2000-01 when he was with Dallas. Phoenix is known for their fantastic medical staff, helping the infamously injury-prone Grant Hill stay relatively healthy since arriving there in 2007-08.
