Jayme Parker


Jayme Parker is a reporter on "SportsDesk," NESN’s popular sports news, information and highlights program. The half-hour sports newscast airs six hours daily. The morning edition runs from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. and again from noon to 1 p.m. The evening edition airs live every night at 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. or immediately following NESN’s live coverage of the Red Sox and Bruins.

Parker began her career in Los Angeles as an intern for ESPN2, where she worked on "The Jim Rome Show." While in Los Angeles, she also served as an assistant director on NBC's hit sitcom "Seinfeld."

The Bristol, Conn., native has worked as a freelance news writer for WCVB-TV Channel 5, WHDH-TV Channel 7 and WBZ-TV Channel 4 in Boston. Currently, Parker serves as a sideline reporter for Boston College football radio broadcasts.

Parker received her undergraduate degree from Central Connecticut State University and her master's degree in broadcast journalism from Emerson College in Boston.
