Soccer

It’s been a rigorous week for the Revolution. In three matches, they won, lost and played to a draw. New England also climbed back to the MLS summit thanks to contributions from Taylor Twellman. More
Back on top
The Revolution battled to a 1-1 tie with Toronto FC and now have an 11-6-4 record. Taylor Twellman scored the only goal for the Revs, his fourth of the season.
Champs to chumps
It might finally be time to worry. The Revolution have been solid all year, but losing three straight matches, surrendering the top spot in MLS and possibly losing Matt Reis is cause for concern.
Globe Trotters
Major League Soccer is not yet up to the English Premiership's level. But with the additions of players like David Beckham and exciting midseason tournaments, there’s no reason MLS can’t soon compete with the world.
A different feeling
The Revolution lost two in a row for the first time all year, despite Taylor Twellman’s return to the starting lineup. Though it’s not panic time yet, New England must get back on track if it plans to win the league.
First class
New England Revolution midfielder Steve Ralston was named the MLS Player of the Week for Week 14. Ralston scored both goals in the Revolution's 2-1 victory over Toronto FC on June 28.
